Healing for the Soul: Man’s Method versus God’s Cure. The world’s psychology and psychiatry has become all-encompassing. We are bombarded daily with billboards, books, (Christian and otherwise), newspapers, magazines, and all other media that promote the world’s psychology, as well as promoting psychoactive drugs for all problems of our minds and emotions. Anger, pornography, and other addictions are changing from sins that need to be repented of, to emotional illnesses to be treated with psychology and drugs. Because of this, conservative Christians who normally stand firm on Scriptural principles, readily accept corrupted doctrines that are sometimes directly contradictory to the Word of God. Since these are not promoted as changes to Christian doctrine, but are climbing over the well as kinder, more effective means of helping the troubled among us, they are readily accepted without realizing their spiritual danger.
