A Time to Lose

Monica is determined to leave the past behind her, to place her feelings for Justin in God’s hands, and to find fulfillment in her work at the coffee shop, her friendships with the girls from church, and her relationship with God. But then, on an ordinary day at work, Mom calls with devastating news, her sister-in-law Beth is in a coma after a serious car accident. She is not expected to survive.
Within a week, a grief-stricken Monica agrees to accept a responsibility that will take her through a dark valley and change her in ways she could never have imagined. But perhaps there are even harder times still to come.
Justin also knows the pain of losing a family member, and as he watches Monica, he wishes he could do something to help. But it seems that God is calling him to stand on the sidelines and do nothing. Waiting is hard, but something more difficult than waiting is still ahead.
