The Spell of the White Sturgeon

This is the vivid, action-packed story of a boy from the New York waterfront who sought adventure on the rough waters of Lake Michigan. The Midwest was growing heartily and fishing was the chief industry of the Lake-Lake Michigan which could be so beautiful one moment and dangerous and destructive the next! Our hero, Ramsay, made staunch friends, found a faithful little black horse, as well as a vengeful enemy. Ramsay even saw the fabled giant white sturgeon which appeared to bring good fortune rather than the evil most fisherman feared.
