Spirograph Deluxe

For 30 years, Spirograph has dazzled kids with intricate drawings made simple with gears and coordinating templates. This Spirograph still dazzles, but it’s even more fun than the original, thanks to a template sporting wacky shapes and designs–a rocket ship, crab claws, clouds, and even an alien. A booklet with design ideas shows kids how to make a turtle, a dinosaur, and more by using one of the seven different-sized gears and three gear-template shapes (circle, oval, kidney) to create the body, and then trace on details (legs, horns, antennae) with the drawing template. Add some crayons and you’ve got an afternoon–or several–of fun.
