How does a shepherd lead his flock?Leadership. Shepherding. Servanthood. What do they mean to you? In 1 Corinthians 12:5 the Bible tells us that the Spirit gives the gift of administration. The concept behind this word is a person who steers or rows a boat. Its meaning is to get the ship to its destination.Real shepherds are leaders with foresight, wisdom, and who are able to bring their sheep with them.Are you called to a leadership postion in the administration of Jesus Christ – the King of all Kings? What a privilege! What a responsibility! Jesus is calling leaders – not as lords over His heritage – but shepherds of His sheep.
