Lucinia, a young Roman mother living in Pompeii, is overcome with fear. But her husband, Corbulo, laughs at her worries. Life is good. Pompeii is prosperous. Vesuvius erupt? That is nothing but an old wives’ fable.
But in Corbulo’s household, some of the slaves are Christians. One day a mysterious writing is etched onto a wall. The words say Sodom Gomorrah”. And those who know the Old Testament story cannot help but wonder: will God deal with the wicked, heathen Pompeii the way He did with Sodom and Gomorrah?
