Ride Like an Indian

Jerry had looked forward to a summer at a dude ranch, but now that he was there, it wasn’t really much fun. The other boy and girl dudes have had a lot more riding experience and Jerry is left with his beginner’s mount, Old Applesauce. Then Jerry meets Sam and discovers that Old Applesauce is an Appaloosa and a real Indian horse. Jerry and Same become blood brothers. However, this bond is not the only secret they share. The days are filled with excitement, intrigue, and more than a few misunderstandings. Yet at the end of the season Jerry feels at last he has been part of a wonderful summer.
